MORNINGS FOR THE PAST WEEK have begun with chocolate croissants and a freshly-baked baguette from a pastelería in our neighbourhood that won World Confectioner 2018 and couldn’t be more deserving. Everything in their pastry cases looks absolutely perfect and incredibly delicious. We’ve only tried a few things so far, but have consistently ordered the chocolate croissants which are so flakey and oozing with CHOCOLATE that, when paired with our morning coffee, might just cause us to faint from HAPPINESS one of these days. If we ever finished our city guide, this place will most definitely make the list. There have also been a few more exciting new arrivals at The Shop this week (you can read more about it here), including a new jeweller, with another (a local designer) to be added in the coming days. Things are picking up in momentum, after the fade of falling leaves from summer to autumn, as we come closer to the year’s end. Where has the time gone?
This week’s links include Copenhagen’s most stylish new hotel and the prettiest delicate gold jewellery; cosy faux shearling coats and what to do in Athens (from a local); vegan chocolate chip cookies and much, much more.
