The other day while searching for a place to have tea, we stumbled upon a beautiful hotel situated a few steps away from the beautiful Opera de Paris, the Palais Garnier: l’InterContinental Paris le Grand.
Also called l’hôtel des voyageurs, l’InterContinental Paris le Grand was originally built for the Exposition Universelle of 1867. The building has long welcomed intellectuals and travelers from around the world, which famously include Victor Hugo, Emile Zola and Oscar Wilde.
La Verrière, an 800 square metre winter garden (Wintergarten) with a pyramid atrium, was designed by Paul-Henri Nénot, and is the perfect choice for a refined tea meeting and an elegant Parisian expérience.
