This year 2018 opens itself with a few lovely dinners, and I have to organize this month’s for quite different occasions. As one of my desires for this year is to try new places, I will try to choose a different place for each dinner, but for this weekend it’s time to finally discover : Le Camondo.

The Socilite Family, and as listed.
The restaurant is located by Parc Monceau in the former garage à voiture of the hotel Camondo. It is adjacent to the Musée Nissim de Camondo, a museum of Les Arts Décoratifs (decorative arts), which holds the extraordinary history of a family of bankers, whose owner was Moïse de Camondo.

In the early 1900’s, Moïse de Camondo built his showpiece mansion in the style of the Petit Trianon at Versailles, and as such, the space contains some of the most exquisite furniture, wainscoting, and bibelots of the mid-to-late 18th century.
A century later, it houses a modern restaurant with nods to its past. Chef of the Cuisine is Alexis le Tadic, a talented young chef who has worked in the kitchens of Ducasse and Jouvence.
