Today in France is La Rentrée: the back-to-work & school routine after the summer and a month away in August. Earlier this morning, you could’ve seen quite a beautiful fashion show on the streets: men and women super stylé in their impeccable tailleur, children hurrying with their big cartables on the way to school. Les vacances sont finis and all the beautiful places they’ve been to this summer are now just a blissful memory–the heavenly beaches they’ve had fun, or the charming narrow roads they’ve walked so many afternoons, the idyllic hotels they’ve stayed, and inviting restaurants…
And with that, I am already planning my next holidays, and here are two of the places I am longing to see:

Annie and Colin Moore have opened a corner of paradise with their five bedroom, 18th-century bed & breakfast in Cathare village of Montréal, France. It is a place that exudes a perfect example of French countryside life: uneven terra-cotta tiles, linen sofas, antique sculptures, white washed walls, and overgrown ivy. Camellas Loret seems like the perfect place to experience slow life and to live one’s dreams …
Built as part of a St.-Martin-de-Ré shipyard in the 16th century, the Toiras was transformed by the architect Olivia Le Calvez in 2004 into a vast mansion. Villa Clarissa completes the hôtel‘s offer since 2011. Both places are dedicated to the pure well-being and relaxation while preserving the soul of the typical old houses on the island.
