The design of the main kitchen by Lauren DeLoach in collaboration with Kingdom Woodworks plays with scale and history. The oversized island is stained to mimic antique furniture and is topped off by a pair of large metal lanterns by Circa Lighting. To offset the hard surfaces, a pair of comfortable skirted stools that each seat two people sit under the island ready for guests.
