Alexandra, Virginia
With cobblestone streets and quaint boutiques and antique shops, Alexandria’s downtown is picture perfect. The city has a highly educated and diverse population, and economically benefits from its close proximity to Washington D.C . The old town can be traced back to the first European settlers who arrived in 1695 and the compact street system that was developed over the years makes for a very walk-able and picturesque city.
