IT IS EASY TO IMAGINE A FAIRYTALE written simply from Josep Font’s collections at Delpozo, that’s how much creativity and imagination they entail. The collection could easily be confused for couture, for the drapery and intricate embellishments and appliqués are just short of a dream. This season, clothes embody the women from Federico García Lorca’s Gypsy Ballads and Gustav Klimt’s muse, Emilie Flöge, with an underlying bohemian spirit — craftsmanship and folklore inextricably intertwined. There were hand crocheted raffia vests, larger-than-life volumes and silhouettes, and sparkle, so much sparkle. —Victoria
