It’s wonderfully sunny today, as it was yesterday, so much so, that we took some time out to wander the hills in the last of the daylight, to climb the peaks and gaze out over the sea . . . And today, all the windows in the office are flung open and the air is warm.  But at nightfall, a chill will seep into the sunset and there’s a September busy-ness slowly overlapping August’s languor.  And it has been a summer of change, and one in which there was the shockingly sudden and terrible loss of a very close family member, but also one of good fortune and firsts and many, many exciting projects and opportunities along the way . . . And while it is never easy to see the most romantic and favourite season go, there are still strolls along the beach in cable knit sweaters left and the last of the hydrangeas.  And after that, as the days get shorter, there will be tall leather boots and cashmere and pale pink coats and leopard print to look forward to . . .
