“September: it was the most beautiful of words, he’d always felt, evoking orange-flowers, swallows, and regret.”
– Alexander Theroux, 1981

. . . the only fleeting regrets being, perhaps, the end of late dinners on balmy rooftop terraces at sunset and hours dreamily slipping by at the beach — but september has its own beautiful charms: dusky mornings and french press coffee, soft leather clutches and wide-legged jeans, socks & heels and chic belted trenches, and most of all, wool tartan blankets as the leaves fall . . .
happy september! wishing you sun-drenched days as summer falls away and wonderful things to look forward this autumn, roséline xo
