. . . early sunday evening, on a day that began with a late start and a long brunch, leisurely conversations and many cups of coffee, memories of last night’s dinner at a new favourite french restaurant {the third time in three weeks!}, stilling lingering — tarte flambée traditional, with bacon, onion, fromage blanc, and gruyère, and a glass of côtes du rhône in the astonishing and silver moonlight — and tonight, it’s repainting everything a romantic and lacy white, old books & magazines and memories in boxes, and early tomorrow morning, the flower markets for a million roses, and last-minute arranging for guests arriving for the upcoming and last weeks of summertime . . .
hope you’re having a perfectly lovely mid-august weekend, and that it’s beautiful where you are, roséline xo
