these photos are so great! I’ve been obsessing over a mini bar for a while now, even though I rarely drink. thanks for the surprising fix!
I have such a fascination with bar carts. I love the idea of a dark, moody, Ralph Lauren style men’s apartment, with bold glasses and liqueur on a stunning silver and black cart.
Though, I love the last little one, with wheels — the shape is so pretty, and the look could work with so many styles.
Must be something in the air – I posted a pic of my “tea trolley” today!
ummmm.. Now I want a glam bar cart too!
what a great idea! I have a empty corner in my living room, This would be perfect!
Cheers to this! Lovely selections -and now you have me in the mood for a drink…
Every grown-up apartment needs a bar cart. I’ve been on the hunt for ages. Which means I’m not quite a grown-up yet, I guess!
I love these cart vignettes.. So sheik yet so casual and fun.
Hi! I would like to just step into one of the pictures, sit down comfortably and enjoy a good book with a glass of whine, or celebrate autumn with some friends…thank you for posting them!
Love, Lilly :D
In the most recent version of pottery barn catalog they have this featured. Looks pretty sexy to me

Gorgeous- love the first one.
I have that German workbench as my kitchen island……..but I’m totally going to use it as the bar next time………awesome idea….
A glass of autumn wine is such a delightful idea!
I’m trying to think of the perfect drink set to put on my drink cart! I think I would drape a plaid throw over mine :)
Fantastic ideas. I have been looking for the perfect country-modern-glamourous-bar-cart for years… perhaps you have re-ignited the flame. Flea markets this weekend? Sounds like the perfect excuse.
As always thank you for the inspiration…

Hi there !
I’ve just found one (last monday) in a thrift store for my husband. Now, he can show his 3-4 best whisky bottles and his cocktail shakers with style. I might give it a makeover in a while, but for now, I leave it as it is. You can check it out if you want : http://nocesdecoton.canalblog.com/archives/2009/10/05/15317826.html (and don’t worry, I’m french, but I try to write my blog in both French and English).
Hope you like it !
Ah the quintessential Glamorous post – along with tartan, trench coats, neutrals and sequins
i have long lusted after a bar cart for my dining room, and i love the images on your site :)
Lovely post, I love them although being English couldnt work out what a bar cart was until I looked at the pix ! Such a graceful addition to a room. Many thanks, Julie.
we’ve got a bar cart at my childhood home – i must remember to tell my mom that she’s really fashionable =)
i think we need to look for beautiful ways of coping with autumn. i’m looking forward to wearing my bottle green/plum tartan scarf with matching plum buttery soft leather gloves when the temperature starts to drop!
I LOVE the idea of a bar cart. Such a classy addition to a room.
*sigh* I am currently searching for the perfect bar cart to fill a nook in my dining room.
These examples are awesome [my favorites: # 2 and # 5].
