{give-away: interior design services}

Michele Krantzow is a New York based interior designer of the boutique design agency, Lavender & Plum. With “clean, sophisticated, and eclectic style and a hint of whimsicality,” Michele assists “design-savvy Manhattanites in opening themselves to the design world by steering clear of the formal interior design process of their parents’ generation”.

Today’s amazing give-away is complete interior design services — one lucky reader in New York City or surrounding area will be selected as a design client of Lavender & Plum, and two other readers everywhere else will be selected to work with Michele by telephone, webcast and e-mail. The new spaces will be featured here after completion.

I hope you will consider a beachside home in Sydney,Australia to turn into the fabulous and stylish family home it is waiting to become! Four years after moving in and with a HUGE pile of inspiring clippings and daily visits to my favorite stylish blogs (that’s you TIG..) I know what I love in a big picture sense but don’t know the EXACT pieces; rugs, lamps, sofa, dining room table…. to pull it all together or how to put them together to achieve the look I want. Some guidance to turn this house into our home is desperately required!! I can provide lots of information on the fabulous stores here in Sydney to help- I just need your help to get the right elements from them!! So are you ready to take on an international assignment???????

  • Dear lord I wish I lived in the US right now!

  • I’m moving to New York this August to start my career. Right now, I’m looking at an adorable two-bedroom in the heart of Greenwich Village. Since I’m just leaving college, it’s going to be a challenge to set up an apartment with all new furniture. I would be so honored to be picked and need as much design advice as I can get! Thank you :)

  • Hello! My husband and I just got married and bought a 2BR on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We are so excited to have so much space but aren’t sure how to best use it. Our two big challenges are to create a comfortable, homey dining area; and a useable desk/office area in our bedroom, which is quite large. Thanks for considering us!

  • I’m outside of New York City, but would love some help. I was in the middle of remodeling, but both of my parents have had cancer 3x’s each over the past five years & everything was put on a complete standstill. My career shifted as well & I now have a home office. I would LOVE advice so I get my life back on positive and productive footing while surrounded in beauty in my space… please consider me. Thank you.

  • Absolutely Fabulous – such a lovely comment — thanks so much! As for the new link system, was uncertain at first, especially when it pulls up strange old posts, but am beginning to get used to it . . .

Thank you for posting this fab opportunity.

  • This is Eight Pond Farm (formally ‘Anonymous’)
A billion apologies if the photos we sent were too large.
Were you able to see our pitifully beige living room? (….so sad is it not?!)

We now poured over almost every single link/page on your site. Craving MORE!!! give us more!

  • Ooh la la! What a truly glamorous giveaway!

Why do I need design services? Because as a lifestyle blogger, I’m exposed to so many beautiful things—colors! styles! must have pieces!—that I could use an objective outside opinion to help me focus in and just MAKE IT HAPPEN! I love it all, but I know it all can’t be mine. Like a writer needs a good editor, I need a talented designer to help me get my act in gear!

xo and have a great weekend m’dear :)

  • this is why i wish i lived a little closer.

  • I have 2 young children & lately I’ve begun to notice my house is looking more and more like a day care center.
I would be so happy if someone could create a home where adults and children could cohabitate equally..and peacefully. Help PLEASE!!!

I would love to win this giveaway! I live in Brooklyn and i am moving in 2 weeks into a new apt. The apt has great bones (high ceilings, tall windows, marble fireplace)and i really want to make it fabulous. The only photos i can provide are of the apt with the previous tenant’s furniture (2 guys with no taste) but you can see the potential.
