James — thank you for your honest comment — think the reason why I love it so is the amazing accuracy with the reflection of the marble, and the very fact that it is marble …
You know, I know I should probably like that 2nd design…but I don’t, I’m afraid. And I’m not completely sure why. Maybe there’s too much of a mix for me. I would have preferred it if much more of the background had fewer etchings on it. For me, it’s been overdone.
take care…
Wow… the way they split the marble to create a mirrored pattern and integrated the dark metal fixtures and avacado sinks… simply gorgeous! I think *this* would be my dream bathroom.
Thanks for stopping by, coco+kelley–love it that you didn’t notice the avocado sinks–although that all that stunning marble really takes centre stage.
that bathroom is so gorgeous i didn’t even NOTICE that the sinks were avocado. beautiful spaces!
Thanks, Things that Inspire–and I know what you mean about the sinks–who knew avocado could be so chic?
Great post! Those sinks make me smile…they are the same color as the sinks that I grew up with in the 70s/80s!
I agree, luxury is in the details. It is the details that takes something from the mundane to the sublime!
(gasp) lovely
Nice to hear from you, Mrs. Blandings and Katie :)
Amazing images. Those valances are gorgeous, and the bathroom sublime!
Suzy – that bathroom is so original – nice to see something so totally fresh.
Blue Orchid–I really like the sinks as well–they’re authentically retro.
Thanks, Suzy! I’m partial to the East Side townhouse, because I’ve never seen Venetian Glass quite like that.
God I’m drooling over both those images! Thanks!
love the sinks!
