LATELY HAVE BEEN thinking about a lot of things―love and life and the things that matter most. But also about phones and social media and the attention economy and all the many, many articles have read about the dangers of all three. About breaking up with my phone and attempting a screen/life balance to feel human again and about the fact that the brain needs down time for deep thinking and creative insight. All of these things have been swirling through my thoughts, and sometimes even at 3:00 in the morning. Perhaps it’s time for a digital detox or to spend more time watching films and drinking wine while in the throes of rambling midnight conversations with my love…
This week’s links include the 40 Most Beautiful Countries in the World; Cathy Horyn’s tribute to Karl Lagerfeld; perfect outfit inspiration for summer days & nights, and as always, much, much more.
