IT’S HARD NOT TO LOVE this time of year, for it is so filled with promise — the terrace cafés are overflowing once again with lovers whispering over glasses of wine (such as us) and friends laughing over glasses of beer and patatas bravas. All the stately lilac trees in the neighbourhood have blossomed and the air is heavy with their classic scent. Clóchinas will soon be in season, and there will be nothing to do but wear light summer dresses and espadrilles for the next few months. Las week we took a trip to the countryside on an expedition to pick up new wicker items from the local artisans for The Shop. We can’t wait to show you all the new and BEAUTIFUL things we found.
