WE FEATURED THIS stunning master bath over eight years ago, in 2010 (here), when it was featured in the June issue of House Beautiful. Now, in 2018, we’ve come across this Seattle space again and are still as much in love as ever. Interior designer Carrie Hayden created this bastion of calm for Heather and Pete Christothoulou (she of the award-winning food blog, Heather Christo) in Seattle.
Repurposed antique mirrored dressers double as a vanity, with a constructed a makeup table to connect the two pieces. Everywhere else, there are swaths of warm Calacatta marble. As mentioned in our previous article, this master bath was designed to evoke the luxury and glamour of a powder room in a 1920’s grand hotel, and we’re still enamored with the perfectly elegant details — an antique gilt mirror and mosaic tiles, vintage gilt and crystal sconces and 1930’s French tufted settee. P.S. more Calacatta marble

Above, a glimpse into the children’s bath, where console sinks are used to add an airiness. The graphic feel of the Ann Sacks tile are echoed in the soft Roman shade and in a slim band of accent tile on the wall.
