WE FIRST INTRODUCEDAmanda Lindroth‘s work in 2014, a trellis and wicker-filled island home in Lyford Cay, Bahamas. Then, we featured another project of hers in January of this year, a stunning pink and wicker-filled space in Palm Beach complete with extravagant trompe-l’œil.
Today, we’re taking a look at the designer’s own home, also in Lyford Cay, Bahamas. It is, of course, wonderfully wicker-filled as well, and with the same bright and cheerful vibe expected of an island home. Lindroth began her career at Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine, covering parties and society, followed by a stint as Public Relations Director for Gucci in London during Tom Ford’s tenure.
After moving to Nassau, Lindroth began doing interiors for her friends, some of the spaces we mentioned eariler. She is heavily influence by the islands and island life, which is always reflected in her interiors — spaces that are comfortable and breezy with a focus on classical architecture and proportion.
