Haven’t had a chance to pick up the new issue of Architectural Digest yet, but fell in love with this glimpse of Château du Fresne in the Val de Loire, France. Flore de Brantes, who runs an art gallery in Brussels, holidays here, for it is her ancestral château. Completed by architect Anatole Amoudru in 1770, Château du Fresne today is filled with pale blue walls and marble fireplaces, 18th-century tapestries and even an antique lit à la polonaise done up in vintage D. Porthault bed linens. Click through for a magical tour . . .
