01-At Home With | Rebecca de Ravenel, New York-This Is Glamorous

YOU MAY HAVE SEEN bits & pieces of Rebecca de Ravenel‘s home around the internets lately, as everyone has been talking about Les Bonbons, a line of playful earrings the interior designer launched in 2015.  What is special about the space is that it features breezy beachy island style in New York City. De Ravenel, the daughter of the Marquis (father Jean-Charles is a French aristocrat & art collector) and Marquise de Ravenel (mother Jackie is an English banking heiress & noted international hostess). De Ravenel was born in New York City, but raised in the Bahamas (in Nassau’s exclusive Lyford Cay community) until she was seven; the designer then moved to Paris (where her father was an antiques dealer) for school. 10 years ago, de Ravenel moved to New York to study fashion design at Parsons, and has since worked at Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch and Ungaro. For the past few years, Rebecca has lived back in the Bahamas, renting out her Greenwich Village apartment only recently returning and bringing her Bahamian, island style with her to the city and again to Los Angeles, all the while keeping her love for blue and beachy style.

Click through for a glimpse of both utterly charming bohemian eclectic spaces with their thoughtful collection of mementos of important events and souvenirs of travels . . .
