FOR THE GIRL WITH EXQUISITE TASTE — Back by popular demand, the Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Seacliff is finally here again! & available for Pre-Order. Over the past few months, we have been inundated with requests for our most popular shoulder bag and our tannery in France has finally produced more leather in this beautiful shade of grey, the colour of the sea on a romantically overcast day along the shores of Scotland . . .

Design Notes
The Saint-Germain-des-Prés shoulder bags by Belgrave Crescent were inspired by old-school English leather cartridge bags used for hunting.
We gave the original design an update by replacing the thick bridal leather typically used with soft & luxurious leather from one of the finest tanneries in South-Western France, bringing the bag from the countryside to city streets.
We also updated the London Tan and Chestnut colours cartridge bags normally come in with a soft and ultra-chic grey, or Seacliff, and added beautiful gold details, such as the lock clasp and chain strap.

THE SCREENS tell us global markets are in freefall. Business Insider quotes Mark Cuban advising Americans to “go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for.”
Style File: The Blazer for Spring 2025
The blazer‘s journey began in the 1800s aboard the HMS Blazer, where the ship’s captain outfitted his crew in navy double-breasted jackets with brass buttons for a visit from Queen Victoria. These distinctive uniforms earned the name “blazer” for their bright appearance and the ship they represented.
Design Inspiration: Decorating with Busts /002
WE FIRST wrote about decorating with busts at our Weekly Newsletter after coming across the image of the bathroom (below) and loved the way the bust was displayed. This discovery lead to learning about the history of displaying busts in homes, which led us on a fascinating journey through art, culture, and social status spanning several centuries.
Design Inspiration: Platform Beds
A platform bed is a modern and minimalist bed frame characterised by its low-profile design and solid, flat surface that supports a mattress directly without requiring a box spring.
