IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL on Sunday, we had an early autumn brunch picnic in the garden — poached eggs with smoked trout and rocket on sourdough and a glass of cava, the late-September sun warm and golden on our faces while we made plans to do absolutely nothing at all. We may have missed the Supermoon early this morning, but having a rare utterly relaxing weekend nearly made up . . .
