WE OFTEN GRAVITATE toward romantic-traditional interiors, but every once in a while, find modern spaces that draw us in. This home in France, just 20 miles west of Paris and along the river in Villennes-sur-Seine, is the intermingling of both worlds . . .
The traditional home has undergone a modern redesign under the guidance of Parisian architect & furniture designer, Olivier Chabaud, including opening the living room up to the height of two floors, adding bookcases and metal railings, stainless steel and even a pool.
