. . . and yesterday was one of those startlingly bright and sunny spring days, especially after the recent april showers; the kind that catches everyone off-guard and creating armfuls of winter coats and cashmere scarves while out and about — the kind that makes one pause in whatever it was that was planned for that day, to stop for a moment and sit in the park, or on a terrace for a leisurely coffee, or pick up as many bouquets of roses and tulips that on can possibly carry; and while tomorrow, there may be rain, today, today is the beginning of another such spectacularly bright and sunny day, and so, it’s à bientôt for a bit, for coffee and rays of golden sun, falling on cheekbones and lashes . . .
