. . . always find it interesting, when the rooms and homes we are drawn to in photographs, magazines and books are completely different from personal tastes; kate & andy’s spade southhampton home is one such space — the former 1892 art studio and school is not a mingling of palest pink and marble and leopard print — but rather, a profusion of bright colours and patterns, florals and stripes, dark floors and shades of rust and deep green, and yet, utterly overflowing with books and art, one can not deny its particular charms . . .
