. . . have always adored the glamour and high drama of lacquered walls — pale blue, deep red [& here], deep blue, green, chartreuse, white [& here], navy, raspberry, and even yellow — today, the look is often created using combination of high gloss paint and acrylic water-based varnish, a process that can be costly, time-consuming and labour-intensive, but often, the results are well worth the trouble; however, recently came across this stunning entryway and discovered that it was done in a lacquered affect wallcovering [the shade used here is eyeliner] — isn’t stunning? and best of all, there are also shades of champagne shimmer & gold . . .
