IT WAS ON THE NEWS this week that previously unseen photographs — candid ones — from Princess Diana’s wedding to Prince Charles have recently emerged. These “outtakes” were taken by Lord Patrick Lichfield, a photographer and distant family relative. Charles and Diana were wed at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on July 29, 1981; these photos offer a rare glimpse at the reception, held at Buckingham Palace. The photos will be auctioned by RR Auction house on September 24.
