Meteorologically speaking, we're in the final month of spring, but time has got away from us and we never had the chance to fully appreciate this season that comes before our favourite. For it's at this time of year, that the earth awakens from its deep sleep, shedding the icy weight of winter's discontent.
ChatGPT, the internet-famous AI text generator, has taken on a new form. Once a website you could visit, it is now a service that you can integrate into software of all kinds, from spreadsheet programs to delivery apps to magazine websites such as this one. Snapchat added ChatGPT to its chat service (it suggested that users might type “Can you write me a haiku about my cheese-obsessed friend Lukas?”), and Instacart plans to add a recipe robot. Many more will follow.
Recently, P introduced me to Raindrop, a web extension that organises everything into tidy folders. In it, there is a folder where I keep TIG article ideas and that's where I remembered the home of English designer (and son of the late Terence Conran), Jasper Conran's, home in Bridport, a market town in Dorset, England ...
I stumbled across some photos of this beautiful castle in Umbria that is now a heritage hotel, and marvelled at how incredible the restoration of this 1000-year-old structure was and how the characteristics of the ancient castle and surrounding buildings were kept in intact while still offering modern comforts.

Interior designer Frank de Biasi and his partner, fashion designer Gene Meyer, let the lease run on their Park Avenue apartment after seeing how their second home in the Moroccan port city of Tangier turned out after four years of renovations ...
PARIS - We've featured our share of Paris apartments here at TIG, as well beautiful interiors found on Instgram. This Haussmannian fits into both categories. L’Appartement La Fayette, as it is known, is Canadian Jackie Kai Ellis' latest project, a space she bought in the winter of 2017.
SOMETIMES THE best place to find inspiring interiors is in the portfolios of photographers. Such is the case with Carley Page Summers, an interior photographer and stylist, passionate about photography from a young age.
Already a week back home from holidays and buried in work and I am almost forgetting again how wonderful life is when you travel and you have adventures and discover new places.
Architectural Digest Editor Amy Astley shared the 1916 redbrick Stockholm mansion of sommelier Jeanette Mix on her personal Instagram page and of course, we were immediately taken with the grand chandelier dramatically hanging over the Calacatta oro marble island...
House & Garden recently featured the Georgian home of Jack Laver Brister, an antiques dealer and interior decorator living in Frome, Somerset. The 1780s home, with he shares with his partner Richard Nares, is the most deliciously maximalist with its blend of eighteenth and early nineteenth century furniture, prints, patterns, textures, colours, and art.
