BELLA HADID is back with another beautiful editorial, and this time it’s for Porter magazine’s Summer 2017 issue. Shot on location in the Bahamas by Terry Richardson, the model lounges about in soft pink robes and ruffly little white dresses amongst palm trees and stunning beaches …
If you think of the English countryside, two artists come to mind who, between them, painted some of the most famous English landscape scenes ever put on canvas. It is probably no coincidence that both of them—Thomas Gainsborough and John Constable—came from the same county of Suffolk in the east of England and both were entranced by its rural beauty.
SINCE WE’RE CURRENTLY featuring Karl Lagerfeld in our NEW SERIES, You Are What You Consume, we thought we might revisit this rather epic editorial the cultural icon shot for Harper’s Bazaar nearly ten years ago.
GUILLAUME HENRY is said to have been inspired by the American Wild West for the Nina Ricci Fall 2017 Ready-to-Wear collection in Paris, siting the Ricci woman a traveler enamoured with the notion of the "urban cowboy". There were silver-tipped and pointed collars, bolo ties and shearling, but thankfully, these rodeo-style adornments were more of an aside to the expert layering of corduroy, leather and lace, the pale shades of dusky rose and daffodil, the shimmery cowl-neck day dresses and perfectly tailored blazers and belted coats ...

DIOR EST UNE FEMME is the rather appropriate title given to an editorial shoot for Vogue Paris, with Bella Hadid outfitted in none other than ensembles from the debut collection of Maria Grazia Chiuri for the house of Dior. But fashion houses have new creative directors all the time, one might say.
