These days feel like they are moving in slow motion for some reason and today, had thought that it was Friday, but it is only Wednesday. I am not sure what it is we are waiting for—perhaps the vaccines are creating a hope that things might get back to normal soon, even as the news here in Britain warns that we are approaching our worst and most dangerous time ever in this pandemic. Our days seem a bit out of sync lately, ebbing and flowing slowly, slowly like the waves of the ocean. We wait and we wait, for what, we know not. But, there is, happily, always much work to be done, and that is, perhaps that only thing that is keeping me from losing my mind during these long lockdown days. We will be doing a few roundups at the site this week, as well as showing you a few new wonderful things we’ve discovered recently. Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far.
This week’s links include a handmade kitchen and a recipe for fudgy, malted brownies; an oversize quilted coat, a modern log cabin in Norway, and much, much more.
