OUR LAST Weekend Links was published in early November 2024. Since then, we’ve shifted our focus to the Weekly Newsletter. If you’d like to catch up on our recent writing, you can read my in-depth reflections on the past year here. This edition is not exactly like past editions as it’s already the middle of the week, so instead of the usual format, we’d like pass a long a few things on my mind lately, a carefully curated compilation of things that I’ve seen and have been inspired by over the course of the week or so. If you subscribe, you’ll know that at the beginning of the first week in January, we got gym memberships and have been going everyday for past 30 days, with the exception of two. We returned to Edinburgh yesterday—our first visit since the summer of 2022. The city is slowly shifting from a place we once called home to somewhere we once lived, that subtle transformation that time quietly engineers. Yet February opens with promise: bright skies above and new projects unfurling before us.
xo,

I’ve been experimenting with a new radiant makeup primer and so far, I’m genuinely impressed. The formula, enriched with Beta-Glucan and Niacinamide, creates this beautiful luminosity under foundation—giving skin a natural, lit-from-within glow. While I’ve primarily used it as a base for makeup, it promises to work beautifully on bare skin, subtly evening out tone and adding radiance. One of its most versatile features is how seamlessly it blends with concealers and foundations, allowing you to customise your perfect level of coverage.
