WHEN LOCKDOWN BEGAN five months ago, was already beginning to commit less days to wearing full make-up, especially on days where there were no outside appointments. If I needed to run errands, would simply wear dark oversized sunglasses and call it a day. Lately I have focused my attention towards my hair because I felt it dryer than normal and more damaged―partly because of the fact that it's been a hotter summer than normal, and partly because of the chlorine water of the pool and the salty water from the sea.
AWOKE ON SUNDAY morning believing that it was Monday, already in the sleepy morning cobwebs of my mind planning ambitiously, the week ahead before P let me know that it was Sunday. Immediately all thoughts of industry were forgotten and an easy, somnolent mood set back in. It's all mindset, you see, and for some inexplicable reason, I'd lost an entire day and gained it back again just in time to fully enjoy an "extra" day of the weekend

A LITTLE NINETIES, a little rock 'n roll―the padded shoulder t-shirt Mini Trend has been around for a little while now, but it's a perfect way to transition from late-summer into autumn. Worn with pleated trousers and heels or with blue jeans, it adds a little extra to any outfit...
THERE IS AN URGENCY to life here in the UK, that we didn't find in Spain and it seems to be directly dependent on the weather. It's an urgency that's not only sensible, but necessary to help manage the disappointment that will inevitably come during the course of a British summer ...

JUST FINISHED reading "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng and didn't really like it. After finishing Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, which was beautifully written, Little Fires seemed much more utilitarian in its writing style, which is fine if things hadn't ended so abruptly and with so many things unresolved.
As some of you already know, we debuted a brand new tote on our Instagram Stories recently. Lightweight, practical, and yet incredibly chic, the brand new In Your Eyes Tote in Onyx ...

Early mornings waking up seeing the sun rising, the smell of pines and fresh coffee and the crickets singing their serenade...
EVERY SUMMER, there's always a picnic or two to look forward to. There is just something about the anticipation of preparing for a summer afternoon picnic―the wicker baskets and vintage tartan wool blanks, stopping by the bakery for a loaf of olive boule or sourdough; cakes and pastries from the bakery or smoked salmon and dill sandwiches from the larder, and of course, a bottle of cava or white wine―it's a bit of a production, and one we relish ...
