There are myriad trends for this autumn: extravagant volume; ballooning sleeves; cardigans worn with everything; seventies-hued denim; trouser suits and pencil skirts; check tights; skirts, coats, and headscarves where checks were worn altogether such as at Burberry; wild fringes on coats, bags and dresses; and so on. The insatiable desire for newness is more alive than ever before and styling can become overwhelming if we don’t get to be the trendiest (so one of my clients told me).
