LAST WEEK I HAD my first hair salon appointment for the first time in over 6 months. The last time my hair was cut was in April, which I was forced to do myself, using a Youtube video for help. We ended up spending the day in the city, drinking really good takeaway coffee, visiting new neighbourhoods, discovering a lovely pub and finding a kimchi place for dinner. Despite getting completely caught in the rain in the evening, it was a really lovely day. We’ve been eating salads everyday for the past two weeks and sticking to our workouts, and so this weekend, we treated ourselves to fish & chips for the first time in months, and also stopped by a place in the village for salted caramel and cappuccino ice cream in waffle cones. (You might already know if you follow our Stories). There seems to be a slight chill in the air lately, making us feel a little wistful for these evanescent summer days…
This week’s links include the most beautiful villages around Portofino and the Cinque Terre, and oversized sweatshirts for chilly August nights; a recipe for Classic Summer Herb Quiche and much, much more.
