THERE IS A STORM on the way, very high winds, rain, and perhaps even snow tomorrow. At the moment, though, it is still up swirling about up north in Northern Ireland and Scotland and making its way down. Here, it feels as if we’ve been hibernating since the start of the new year, venturing out over the weekend only for a quick drink in the cosy pub at the top of the hill (which was filled with so many others who had the same idea) and otherwise staying firmly indoors fireside at the cottage. And while it was one of my New Year’s Resolutions to stay away from the relentless news cycles with the exception of the very important things like plane crashes and Australia (a few links to help here), somehow Harry & Meghan seem to be all anyone can talk about and so it’s time to tune out and refocus again…
This week’s links include the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds and belted wool coats and ribbed sweaters for winter days; the Hotel du Duc de Gesvres and much, much more.
