Filipa de Abreu is a design consultant and brand ambassador for Tory Burch in New York. When she is not there, she spends her time in Lisbon, in this century-old four-bedroom rental with an ocean view in the city’s Lapa neighbourhood. The place, bright and colourful and a maximalist‘s playground, features soaring ceilings, crown mouldings and boiserie. There are also not one, but two canopied daybeds, and other fun details such as Indian fabrics, Sevillian tiger chairs used as nightstands; and hand painted tigers and a giraffe in a vibrant pink mural that preside over lively dinner parties…
