NASHVILLE – Because it’s officially spring, this week’s At Home With is the Nashville home of interior designer Minnette Jackson and her husband, who moved to Tennessee from New York City seven years ago. It’s perfect for spring, of course, as it’s awash in grassy greens and watery blues that are always lovely to see at this time of year. Jackson’s classic with a twist take on décor, with its cosy sofas and armchairs mixed with art and French antiques and prints and patterns is refreshing as well. Inspired by the place that became her home, the designer states, “Nashville is such a vibrant Southern city, complete with classic architecture, beautiful green hills, and a heavy dose of Southern hospitality. It is hard to design a home there that doesn’t reflect those comforts.” (One King’s Lane)
