Architectural Digest Editor Amy Astley shared the 1916 redbrick Stockholm mansion of sommelier Jeanette Mix on her personal Instagram page and of course, we were immediately taken with the grand chandelier dramatically hanging over the Calacatta oro marble island. The design is readily recognisable to be by London-based Ilse Crawford, whose job it was to make the original work of Stockholm architect Isak Gustaf Clason more cosy and to create a sense of togetherness for the family. It was a task the designer accomplished by relocating the kitchen, as well as adding many furry throws, rattan armchairs and potted plants, as well as her signature touches such as a bespoke brass bar in the dayroom.
