IT IS A BIT STRANGE to be writing this message on the very last day of the year, as when many of these photos were taken, the month of December stretched out like a long and languid dream. A dream filled with good-byes and hellos, new friends and art gallery openings, rainy evenings over oysters, cava and candlelight.
There difficult moments too (what full and well-lived life is without?), and moments of light; there were new business opportunities and serendipitous partnerships leading to (most exciting of all) a new collaborative (and extraordinarily lovely) line of jewellery coming soon to The Shop. This message, is of course, not meant to be a New Year’s message (that is to come), but rather a quick recap of the beautiful happenings of the past month…
Plaza del Ayuntamiento is festive on an ordinary day, but especially so during the holidays, when there are fairy lights and a carousel, and even an ice skating rink, which, in sunny Spain is no small feat.
