IT HAS BEEN RAINY lately, which is unusual for here, but it’s April, and soon there will be the most stunningly lovely sunny days with the clearest skies, days upon days that will far out-number these gloomy ones, which will be all but a distant memory. And besides, sometimes the rain the can be rather romantic. This weekend, there were fireworks for an unknown festive reason, a wine festival in the park that celebrated it’s 38th year, and the city beginning to get busy again the winter. The gardens are more lush everyday, and the blossoms on the trees are beginning to fall. Things are alive in the way they only can be in the springtime…
This week’s links include a summer home in Ibiza, and beautiful hand blown vases made from plastic pipes used to distribute water; new restaurants in Paris, wicker for summer days, and much, much more.
