This year my holiday structure is changing: fewer plans, no schedules, no compromises. While everyone else is planning their big Christmas dinner, this year I am headed towards making my own traditions, including a small dinner with friends and some more time for myself and reading.
However, large family-filled festivities are always going to be a sweet memory I’ll always cherish. And here in France, the Christmas dinner, or le Repas de Noël takes a great place of honour in every home, so I thought, despite it being small this year, why not still make an effort to give it a whimsically elegant air?
Here are just a few details with a dash of femininity that will be present around my dinner table: gilded cutlery, glittering gold place settings, marble mantles, large mirrors, candlelights and branches paired with twinkling lights…
Wishing you all joy, laughter and love for every day, but especially for the Christmas holidays.
