THERE ARE ROOMS in the West London townhouse that model & actress Poppy Develvingne shares with her husband, James Cook (the CEO of a British aviation company) that are dark and jewel-like, with high-gloss teal walls (inspired by the Hôtel Costes in Paris) and garnet velvet sofas. Those are not the rooms we’re most interested in, however, though they may be James’ favourites. No, the ones we’ve most fallen for are Poppy’s favourites — the powder room wrapped in Beverly Hills Hotel banana-leaf-print wallpaper, a soft pink bedroom with a wicker peacock chair and upholstered headboard, and the insanely chic pink bathroom with hand-painted silk wall covering by De Gournay and pink and gold clawfoot tub… The renovation was completed with the help of architect Alex Tart, and London-based designer Joanna Plant. We featured the couple’s wedding (here) in 2014. Now, here’s a glimpse of their London home.
