BITS AND PIECES of Interior Designer Ashley Whittaker‘s work has been featured here before, but here is more of our favourite Westchester, New York home. A perfect medley of florals, ikats and geometric area rugs, lavender curtains and de Gournay, the pale yellow family room was inspired by the client’s own yellow cut velvet pillows in a previous home. Says Whittaker, “We’re always searching for contrasts that add richness, that stimulate a curiosity to see what else is happening — white chairs around a dark table, or vice versa.
