. . . still sorting through a million photographs, including ones [p took] of the amazing mountain lodge in the adirondacks [can not wait to show you], and came across these ones of the chadwick bell spring rtw 2012 collection presentation at the standard — again, had forgotten a camera, having only an iphone, and despite dim lighting and swirling motion, the photographs came out rather lovely . . .
{p.s.} as always, more after the jump . . .
. . . there were sequins for day, on pencil skirts and tanks, as well as belted jackets and elegant powdery pink skirt suits, all befitting of a glamorous art collector whose wardrobe is an extension of the art on her walls . . .
this dress, with its sexy sheer corset and full, floor-grazing skirt was especially breathtaking
. . . with its flows of organza, clusters of caviar beads and smokey paillettes infused with an architectural edge, the collection is a work of art, and it is not difficult to see why bell is often regarded as a favourite new designer to watch, and has even caught the attention of designer carolina herrera, who also attended the show, much to laily‘s & my utter delight . . .

. . . afterwards, we [laily & i] stopped by pastis for lunch, and then it was a taxi back to the hotel to change for the evening’s events at bergdorf‘s and tiffany’s . . .
