“Don’t Wanna Fight” is the first single from Alabama Shakes‘ sophomore album, Sound & Color, released April 21st and is the follow up album to 2012 breakout, Boys & Girls. It’s probably a safe bet that this track is headed for chart success.
If Lonelady’s “Groove It Out” doesn’t induce you to dance, then we expect that it will at the very least illicit some serious head nodding. Lonelady is Manchester singer-songwriter, Julie Ann Campbell, who recorded most of her sophomore album, Hinterland, in a home studio, mostly using a Tascam 8-track cassette recorder.
Enjoy the relaxed vibes of “Oino” by La Priest, the work of Sam Eastgate. Eastgate is a former member of the band Late of the Pier, that enjoyed some critical success in 00’s.
Portland’s psych rock outfit, Unknown Mortal Orchestra‘s, single release “Multi Love” is the first release from their highly-anticipated third album of the same name, due for release on May 26th.
“Midnight” is the atmospheric piano-driven ode to the streets of New York from Tor Miller, a 19-year-old Brooklynite singer-songwriter.
