“In August I began a Nonfiction Production class at the intermediate level. Our first assignment was to pitch an idea to make a documentary about and I pitched this idea of Gentrification in Brooklyn. The idea was one of 5 to get chosen. Our task was to tell a good story. I grew up in Brooklyn my whole life in a neighborhood that I watched get gentrified. Over and over again I heard stories of people having to leave their homes because of this issue. This documentary is a short insight into the lives of two individuals who have experienced being forced out of their homes.” –OhNeeksTV
