San Antonio, Texas

Of all the cities in Texas, San Antonio seems to be the one that slips the most below the radar. San Antonio is one of the United States’ fastest growing cities, the 7th largest in population, and the second largest in population within Texas after Houston. San Antonio benefits from a warm subtropical climate and has a vibrant nightlife and dining scene, and attractive downtown with some Spanish influences. Perhaps San Antonio’s most beautiful feature is the acclaimed River Walk—the 2.5 mile stretch of walkways one level below street level is a pedestrian only walkway lined with shops and restaurants, and connects all the main tourist attractions like the Alamo.
