Travel Diary: A Few Snapshots from Lisbon, Portugal

[Slideshow — if slides do not advance, click here]

A FEW MONTHS AGO, in late-November of last year, we visited Lisbon, Portugal for the very first time and utterly fell in love with its pastel buildings, sunny, sunny days, pastel de nata (custard tarts) and laid-back vibe. Here are a few snapshots by iPhone that had been meaning to share. More (proper) photos to come from P’s camera, but for now, here is a glimpse of this beautiful, vibrant city with its terracotta rooftops and palm trees in the city . . .

(There are also a few shots from the Palácio Nacional de Queluz / The Queluz National Palace, just outside of the city).

{p.s.} more Lisbon, more travel, & more instagram

I am a Portuguese fan of your blog. I loved watching the images of Lisbon. Thank you!
For the next coming to Portugal must go to Sintra and advise you to stay in Tivoli Palácio de Seteais. It has everything to do with you.

Wow! So beautiful and so much French influence in the architecture. Lovely elegance and no over crowding, yay.
