Runway : Valentino Pre-Fall 2015


1 “YOUR EYES ARE THE EYES OF A WOMAN IN LOVE” says an inscription on one of the collection’s flame red gowns. Of course, Valentino is right, for how can one not fall in love with at least a dozen looks from the 97 presented in the collection? For the girl seeking a modernised and romanticised 70’s spirit, there were dresses brimming with mimosas and lilies-of-the-valley, matched with equally printed knee-high leather boots, and sleek white coats and a-line dresses paired with multicolour striped boots and chain bags.

2 For the street style star, there was an exquisite leopard-print coat with a blue fur collar and a maya-blue pleated embellished dress. The starlet looking for a dress for awards season or the sophisticate seeking a gown for her gala nights, will find an array of sweeping silk chiffon dresses embellished with floral motifs or delicate crystals. Lastly, the one who looks to the stars will find the last ten looks utterly perfect.
