THIS WEEKEND BEGAN with a late Friday night date to see the film, Boyhood, by writer-director Richard Linklater — have you seen it? It’s lovely and a little sad, poignant and whimsical and encapsulates the fleetingness of life . . . And while on the Richard Linklater track, we decided to see Before Midnight last night, and it was wholly another experience, yet still touching on the theme of the passage of time. And so, as this letter comes to you from the garden [bare toes in the grass] on a mid-summer’s day, it will be one it will be one that pauses to fully soak up every last bit of this beautiful weekend, before it slips away . . .
Hope you had an impossibly lovely weekend & that it’s beautiful where you are, —Roséline xo
