{notes from the weekend & a few lovely links}

. . . and it was one of those weekends that was full and yet stunningly relaxing at the same time, perhaps due to the fact that all of the activities filling these early august days were of the leisurely variety — strolls along lush leafy glens in the countryside, brooks and streams and castle ruins, country houses and quaint cosy pubs, rainstorms and rainbows when the rain had gone and no where to be but where we were at that very moment, and sometimes, just sometimes, doing nothing is everything . . .

hope you’ve had a beautiful late-summer weekend, and that your week is off to a perfect start, roséline xo

  • You are an amazing writer!! I don’t think you even realize it, or maybe you do, but there’s a calmness around your writing and I absolutely love it.

  • I’m in love with that desk picture! I saved it so I can remember it when I have a desk of my own for work!

  • Okay….I have an IDENTICAL gold tray that you have on your desk and JUST decided to use it as a tray for my dogs water/food dishes. Now I’m thinking I need it for my keyboard! So pretty.
